The Client

EarthVision started in 1988 as an independent video production company with a focus on environmental processes. Located in Cheshire, Connecticut, EarthVision's current mission is to connect people with place through the context of wine using geology based-work. Through a series of geological processes, EarthVision examines vineyards and creates extensive reports for winegrowers regarding the history and physical culture of their vineyards.

The Challenge

EarthVision's founder, Jonathan Swinchatt, desired a marketing tool that would allow him to connect with his winegrowers around the globe. Since Jonathan has written many articles on geology in vineyards, he requested the ability to add those articles to his website as a marketing tool to increase interest in his work.

The Result

Using earth tones and provocative images, Tortus created a strong website that graphically exhibits Jonathan's work, utilizing both stock images and images provided by the client. Utilizing soft colors and vibrant images has helped increase interest in Jonathan's geological endeavors, as well as reinforces his brand message.

Tortus also created a content management system (CMS) which enables Jonathan to upload articles and terroir reports from around the globe, without the help of a designer or programmer.
