When FIT Solutions approached Tortus they had a website that was built completely using images. This resulted in no visibility to search engines, which in turn made FIT virtually invisible to job seekers and companies looking to hire. Because the site was a puzzle of images, it created unnecessarily long page load speeds and meant that visitors using certain browsers or security programs could not view the site at all. Tortus recommended a new site built using text (Tortus designers used Cascading Style Sheets), which would allow Google and other search engines to properly read the site for keywords and place FIT Solutions in Google results accordingly.
Jackie Fallon came to Tortus so she could reach her target employees on their turf - the web. FIT Solutions now has a new look and style that matches the industry that they work in. Job seekers can now view open positions online and apply, allowing FIT Solutions to keep an organized database of resumes and positions. Jackie can now cross-reference capabilities with current and future openings to ensure the best fit for all parties. Apply online capabilities also allows FIT Solutions to direct all potential clients and applicants back to her website. Not only does this allow Jackie to inform visitors about the benefits of her services, it also allows her to cut back on her advertising budget.
