Jericho's Kitchen features the culinary masterpieces of Jericho Hendricks, a local chef who has been working around the pioneer valley for the past 10 years. Jericho decided it was time to take a break from the hectic and wasteful restaurant business and created Jericho's Kitchen in the summer of 2008. By serving take-home meals (both cold and hot) made from local produce in environmentally responsible containers, Jericho can reach a larger audience than if he had focused on becoming a personal chef.

Jericho is focused on making quality meals using only the freshest local produce. In addition to utilizing ingredients from farms around Western Massachusetts, Jericho's Kitchen uses combustible containers and silverware to drastically cut back on the waste that he and his customers produce.

To provide a quick and easy way for regulars to check weekly specials, Tortus created a section on the homepage that directs attention to gourmet menu items. Instead of calling us once a week to change these weekly specials, we built a custom content management system (CMS), which allows Jericho's Kitchen to update the site as the mouthwatering menu changes.

We all know how frustrating it is to try and call ahead and place a restaurant order without a menu. Jericho's Kitchen takes care of this problem with the lunch, dinner, and meals to go menus online. Again, we created a CMS (content management system) for the team at Jericho's Kitchen to easily update and create their tantalizing lunch, dinner and meals to go menus.

Jericho's Kitchen also helps out their local community by providing a Community Links section where Jericho's Kitchen lists a directory of the best businesses in Western Mass, backed by the Jericho's Kitchen solid recommendation and reputation.

In this economy, less and less families are choosing to spend their hard earned money for a night out on the town. With Jericho's Kitchen, we created an email opt-in for customers to sign up to receive special offers, news and information about Jericho's Kitchen and even menu updates, keeping Jericho's Kitchen top of mind when it comes to meeting their customer's quick but savory meal needs.
