The Loomis Communities

The Loomis Communities consists of three continuing care retirement communities that have been providing exceptional senior living in the Pioneer Valley for over 100 years. Loomis' three locations are Applewood at Amherst, Loomis House in Holyoke, and Loomis Village in South Hadley. The communities fit a wide variety of retirement needs and offer unsurpassed quality of care.

The Loomis Communities approached Tortus Technologies with an existing website that was outdated, difficult to navigate, and didn’t project the vision and lifestyle of Loomis Communities. They wanted a site that was easy to navigate, targeted to their market, and showcased each unique retirement community.

We worked closely with Loomis to create a custom solution that incorporated all of their wants and needs. Their new site represents each distinct community and appeals to their two target markets: adults looking at options for their parents, and older adults researching options for themselves. The new site is designed to allow visitors to easily schedule a tour and contact Loomis for additional information.

The new Loomis site has a content management system (CMS) that allows them to update their information quickly and easily. After the new site went live, Loomis experienced a surge in inquires to schedule a tour and get more information.
