NUVO Bank
NUVO Bank is an independent, small-business bank located in the heart of downtown Springfield, Mass. Founded in 2008, NUVO sought to create a website that would emphasize its state-of-the-art banking technology as well its commitment to building strong relationships and supporting the community in the region.
With an array of banking products, NUVO required a website that would be easy for users to navigate to find the right information. The website also needed the functionality to support its online banking system. And with constantly changing rate information and updates on NUVO’s many charitable endeavors, the company required a content management system that would enable it to make site changes quickly and easily. In addition, the company envisioned a website that would encourage frequent visits and extend its brand recognition throughout the region, thus expanding new and existing client relationships.
The Tortus development team worked to ensure a high degree of usability in the new NUVO Bank website. The large amount of information contained in the site is effectively organized and user-friendly. The site also has a security certificate from VeriSign, the leading secure sockets layer (SSL) certificate authority, enabling the strongest SSL encryption available.
To give users the current information they need and keep the site’s content fresh for search engine optimization purposes, Tortus developed an easy-to-use, full-site content management system (CMS) that allows NUVO Bank to make the changes they need, whenever they want. The CMS integrates NUVO’s distinctive color scheme and logo to maintain a consistent look throughout the site. A community calendar that NUVO self-manages enables the company to update events quickly and easily.
