Happy Holidays!

It's 18% happier if you're an online retailer.

Over 4 billion dollars were spent online the week following Thanksgiving, as reported by comScore Networks Inc. www.comscorenetworks.com, a global Internet information provider. November 2007 also brought an 18% increase in web sales over November 2006. The bottom line is: the convenience of online shopping continues to draw more consumer purchases from conventional retailers. How are you doing?

Now here's some additional food for thought:

Where do you think most of these purchases are being made? At work or at home? You may be surprised to hear that more people shop online at work, not from home. It is reported that approximately 46% of web purchases are made at work and 44% from home. What about the other 10% of online sales? Approximately 4% are made from school and 6% come from foreign buyers.

November online purchases are up 18% this year. That is nearly $14,000,000,000 [billion] in November web spending. Impressive growth don't you think?

Web 2.0 is alive and growing. Maybe it's time you consider a new eCommerce web design project?
