Bloom Box: Is This The Future For Energy? 

Here at Tortus, we're always looking for the next big thing, especially when it comes to technological advancements. We're always scouting and searching out new and exciting ideas that could rock our world and improve how we live, protect our environment, and save us money.

I think we've found one! And this isn't a pipe dream. It's in use today.

Imagine an energy source that can do all the aforementioned. Yes, it's environmentally clean and less expensive. The name of the innovative company that makes this product is Bloom Energy. Based in Sunnyvale, California, Bloom Energy began the stealth development of its simple, yet revolutionary energy server in 2001.

 Bloom recently installed their ‘Bloom Boxes' at Google, Walmart, Fedex, Staples, Ebay, and many other companies. The cost of each energy server is $700,000 -- $800,000 per unit installation. The estimated return on investment, based on traditional grid energy costs, is less than three years! These energy-generating units are not connected to the traditional grid. Instead, Bloom's technology makes electricity through a chemical reaction via oxide fuel cells made of simple sand-- literally making electricity out of air.
