Tortus Technologies Hires 4 New Employees

West Springfield, MA- September 1^st, 2005—Tortus Technologies is pleased to announce the addition of four new employees to their expanding team of web site designers, developers, account managers, and executives.

David Belson, Web Designer/Developer- David comes to Tortus with five years of freelance web site design experience. He began with Howie Green Design of Boston, and most recently, David has lent his skills to Pileated Pictures of Shelburne, MA (www.pileated.com). David works with CSS, XHTML, and maintains a focus on accessibility and usability for each web site he designs. He has also maintained his own web site, Just Under the Surface (www.justunderthesurface.com), since 2001.

Christina Gay, Sales & Marketing Support- After two years as an Examiner at the Massachusetts Division of Banks, Christina changed her focus from compliance law to Internet Marketing. She worked in different capacities at several small businesses throughout her career, which lends to her familiarity with business structure and marketing. Christina has worked with companies from the retail, banking, and travel industries. Her work, from writing to photography, has been featured in The Cape Cod Times, The Barnstable Patriot, Cape Cod Life, and The Massachusetts Daily Collegian. She received a Bachelor of Arts with a major in English from UMass Amherst in 2003.

Dan Joyce, Senior Account Manager- Dan brings to Tortus over 10 years of successful business-to-business sales experience. Originally from Springfield, Dan currently lives in Wilbraham and is a 1991 graduate of Cathedral High School. Dan received his Bachelor of Science from UMass Dartmouth in 1996, and in 2004, he completed the MBA program from Western New England College.

Dana Soucier, Operations Manager- With over 35 years of successful operations experience, Dana brings his executive leadership and management skills to Tortus Technologies. His most recent position was Senior IT Manager with IKON Office Solutions (A Fortune 500 Company). Dana has lent his talents to MBS (Moore Business Systems) as Operations Manager; National Telephone as Vice President and General Manager; and Carolina Communications as Vice President of Finance Administration.
